About

There are many excellent therapists to choose from, the key is finding someone whose approach and style feel right for you and whom can facilitate the kind of change your seeking. Here are a few reasons clients choose to work with me.
Firstly, my approach is grounded in Gestalt psychotherapy, which differs from many conventional forms of therapy. I do not focus on analysing problems or managing symptoms, rather I work to uncover and address the deeper issues that are at the core of your difficulties. This opens up opportunity for real, meaningful and lasting change.
Another reason is accessibility. I intentionally keep my overheads low so that I can offer high-quality psychotherapy at a more affordable rate. My fee is $110, however I do offer a flexible sliding-scale fee structure (from $80 to $110 per session) for those experiencing financial difficulties, allowing you to choose a fee that is manageable for you. My aim is to make therapy as accessible as possible, without compromising the quality, depth, or effectiveness of the support you receive.
And finally, the right therapist is someone with whom you can feel comfortable with and understood by, whilst being able to do meaningful work that leads to lasting change. If you are looking for an approach that is authentic, relational, affordable, and focused on genuine change rather than symptom management, then we may be a good fit.
