I am a psychologist and Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne. In my private clinical practice I provide therapy for performance anxiety including public speaking, tinnitus, and performance coaching in academic and other disciplines, workplace stress management and burnout.
My research and teaching focuses on performance psychology and health of musicians and other high-performers in the arts and sports, expanding to performance science more broadly. As convenor of the Master of Professional Psychology program I also train innovative, highly effective professional psychologists.
As a result of my academic and professional practice, I am committed to providing evidence-based therapy that assists people to behave in ways that lead them to live full and satisfying lives.
Specialities:-
Performance psychology: I integrate cognitive, behavioural and neuroscience research to formulate best-practice methods to build resilience, reduce debilitating anxiety and maximise performance potential in young, developing and professional performers.
Anxiety, mood and pain management; life coaching.
